The Israelites who came out of Egypt wanted to keep the Ten Commandments but God said they did not have the heart to do so. We know WHAT God said he would do to fix the fault of human beings.  But the mystery from ages past that we now understand is HOW God fixed the problem. The mystery is in the details.
