What about the parable of the Good Samaritan.  Is this the crux of Christianity?  No!  Is it an important thing for us to learn and practice?  Yes!  Is balance needed?  Yes!  But we don’t need to feel guilty, though, if we put God and His commission first in our lives.  That is the real key to success in fulfilling the instructions of this parable.  Things will come along and we need to be ready and able to respond properly at the right time.
