The prophet Daniel asked God “How will this [time of the end] finally end” (NLT). Over 500 years later, the disciples asked Christ when the end-time would be and when He would restore the kingdom to Israel. Counting back from the time of the end (the finish), God revealed 3 time periods that describe significant events—the power of the 2 witnesses, the abomination of desolation and the time to have patience. Those revelations are to both Daniel and John in the book of Revelations.
