Galatians: Works of the Law Have Not Been Abolished
– December 1, 2012
Many theologians use the book of Galatians to prove that the Old Testament laws have been abolished. You can prove that the Works of the Law, defined by the apostle Paul as the Book of the Law, still must be kept, either literally or in principle. You will find that God's Spirit convicts us to keep the commandments and replaces some signs that reminded ancient Israel to do so. And you will discover that Christ's sacrifice and priesthood have replaced the Levitical priesthood and the temple. But God's laws are in effect forever.
