Before mankind was created, God's intent was for us to be in His character image.  Throughout almost 6,000 years the evidence proves God has never changed His goal: through His Spirit, mainly beginning on Pentecost, we are gifted upon repentance with the Holy Spirit which convicts us of sin and gives us power to overcome.  Our spiritual journey begins with God's Spirit and ends with a new beginning as immortals in God's kingdom.
