Why does God plague the world before the return of Christ?  From the beginning of God's plan with the Passover, we understand God wants mankind to stop sinning!  Adam and Eve were thrust out of the Garden of Eden because of following Satan resulting in sin.  For 6,000 years mankind has unwittingly worshiped Satan and refuses to repent of sin, therefore God avenges His elect and curses the world before Christ returns.
