Even though God brought the Israelites out of Egypt and they left physically, they never really left Egypt behind.  They took with them the Egyptians’ customs and ways of thinking.  We must learn to leave our personal  Egypt (sin) behind, when we have come out and never look back and long for those old ways the way they did.
