In the life and days ahead, it may become necessary to give up a lot of the things we want and that we are used to having.  But to sacrifice our relationship with God—to put other gods before God—is not an option for converted Christians.  Other things will come along, which will try to get us off-track by putting them 1st and God 2nd.   We mustn’t fall prey to that.
