Adam and Eve had the opportunity in the garden of Eden to eat of the Tree of Life symbolizing the Holy Spirit. They replaced God’s Spirit with what they thought would make them happy. Are we doing the same? What desires, goals and endeavors do we pursue to have the love, joy, peace, patience, power and sound-mindedness that only God’s Spirit can produce?
