Galatians 3:10-14 is interpreted by most meaning we are righteous first and foremost by having faith only in Jesus. Why then, in these five verses, do we have quotations from Deuteronomy, Habakkuk and Leviticus that emphasize obedience to God’s commandments? Has God inspired Paul to promote faith only or to promote keeping His commandments by faith through God’s Spirit?
