I Cor 5:8 gives us the blueprint of our self-improvement plan. These Days of Unleavened Bread picture us getting rid of the sins we struggle with, it pictures us fighting the seething bitterness that is malice and also the absolute lack of respect and fear of God's Law in the world around us.

But these days are much more than that, the removing aspect. As we remove things, we don't want a void, a vacuum, in our lives. We must replace these traits with a sincere love and desire to follow Jesus Christ. In addition, we must gain the willingness to know, speak, love and live God's truth, His Word.
