Leaven, which we destroy after partaking of the Passover,  is a symbol of malice and wickedness. Unleavened bread is a symbol of sincerity and truth—the substance that replaces being “leavened.” Ephesians 4-6 gives several Godly characteristics that replaces the sinful leaven in our lives.
